a rather odd mix-&-match martial arts film by Yuen Woo-ping.

Jay Chou gained weight.

and references to such films as kill bill 2

(with Gordon Liu, David Carradine, the coffin scene etc)

the promise (set design on the mountain ridge)

and druken master (취권), obviously

but overall an uninteresting film.
