다분히 dorky한 주인공
허나 그세상에 잠재한 머니, 이윤
almost an american dream
영국적 배경으론 절대 탄생할 수 없는..

미국은 빈부의 격차가 심하지만
개인적인 탤런트나 행운으로
그 갭을 뛰어 넘을 수 있는듯이
포장한다.
영국에서의 계층은 매우 fixed 되있는듯
그것을 뛰어넘으려는 의지도 별로 없고.

i'm thinking, am i watching an episode of 'gilmore girls'?
i hate when people somehow think that fast talking is an indication of
being smart.

i liked the last shot, though, where
mark kept refreshing the facebook page of the girl
who broke up with him,
reinforcing the fact that the whole venture started out of his dorkiness.
